Coordinator, our Defensive Staff and defense overall, and above all a VERY committed and mentally-tough group of PLAYERS on all 3 phases of the game deserve pretty much all the credit for this one as opposed to the head coach (he had a LOT of things he wishes he could've gone back and re-done!).

 

Thankfully, a good staff and a great bunch of kids can win sometimes IN SPITE OF the head coach and not just always BECAUSE of!

With a new, vibrant Coach Jackson the Bruins are trending upward.

 

With Coach Redman having one foot in retirement mode the Bulldogs are trending the other direction.

 

With Coach Jackson on board, and a positive trendline, Ballard might start getting a few of the football players that Male and Manual had been getting.
