What are you reading?

Thanks for the heads up. I missed the fact that there was a new installment out.

It actually came out in hardcover over a year ago, but I have all the others in trade paperback, so I waited to get this one until it came out in that form. Have you read any of the Kathryn Dance series? I think there's two of them, though she was introduced in The Cold Moon (I think that was the one...she helped Rhyme in one of his investigations & she was so popular that Deaver gave the character her own series).

I'm terrible at remembering titles that I've read.

The Grand Alliance: The Second World War Volume III by Winston S. Churchill

A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin (re-reading these)

Has anyone read Robert Caro's three (and presumably forthcoming four) part biography of Lyndon Johnson? I have the first one in the mail.

"The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. This might be one of the worst books I've ever read and I hate my friend for badgering me until I finally picked it up.

 I've never read The Fountainhead, but I read Atlast Shrugged.

I love me some Lincoln Rhyme.

Tick Tock by James Patterson

"with Fire and Sword " The Battle of Bunker Hill and the Beginning of the American Revolution by James L. Nelson

I saw Glenn Beck talking about Ayn Rand on his show one day. That's been several months ago. It piqued my interest, but ultimately they didn't sound like books that I wanted to read at the present time.

I loathe reading (at least anything longer then a couple of pages). However, I am planning on picking up The Paleo Solution and giving it a read. I am flying to Vegas in a few weeks and I figure it will be a good way to kill the 6 hours I will be on the plane going out.

Currently reading The Machine by Joe Posnanski. It's about the 1975 Cincinnati Reds. I enjoy it...should be finished this week.

Finished it yesterday afternoon. Started on Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol today. I read it about a year and a half ago, but wanted to go through it one more time. I find it very interesting.

I love me some Lincoln Rhyme.

I'm not sure why but when I read the first Lincoln Rhyme book I pictured him looking like Morgan Freeman. However, later I figured out he's white. Doesn't matter. Still Morgan Freeman to me.

I thought of Christopher Reeve, for obvious reasons.
