I'm personally sick of hearing about Highlands. I have a lot of respect for their program and all the state titles they have. But that is what everyone talks about on here more than any other team. There is a school in Louisville called the Shramrocks.

I too have a great deal of respect for Trinity's program, I didn't see the final score until after I asked the question but I agree if you don't want to hear or read about Highlands get off the thread!!!

I hope Kraigthorpe is O.K. and returns to the team soon.

Yes, as a point of fact there is a team in Louisville called the Trinity Shamrocks. You get an "A" for pointing this out correctly.

 

I don't know what to say about there being too much Highlands chatter on this website. Everyone who posts on BGP is a paying member (including you and me), and as long as the discussion is appropriate a BGP'er is allowed to discuss any team he/she wishes to discuss.

 

If you feel this is unfair, I suggest that you contact the guru. Also, feel free to visit prep sports forums for other states (such as Yappi, which covers Ohio sports)... there is a lot less Highlands chatter on those other sites!!!

Beechwood will recover though and still be #1 in 1A.

Beechwood has to be exceptional to compete with the Birds just like the Birds have to be exceptional to compete with GCL teams. This appears to be exceptional year for the Birds, but not the Tigers. Highlands 55 Beechwood 13. Beechwood will compete at the top as always in Class A.

I'm just saying that Dale will not beat on a team and kicked them when they are down. Dale needs this series....And it's Beechwood and Dale wouldn't do that to them. Way too much respect.... BTW, you are taking the ignore thing on FB way too seriously. Why would I want to look into the life of the Weasel...

Let's just be nice and say a lot (Birds) to a little (Tigers):isurrender:. On the bright side it looks like some JV players will log some varsity time....! I always state to young players a nice way to climb the depth chart (make the most out of your opportunities). I can't see Varsity playing past the first series in the third quarter. This is just a very good Highlands team and not your typical Tigers team.

I re-read his original post, and I didn't get that from what he wrote. However, you are correct that HHS fans tend to "participate robustly" in many threads, oftentimes adding a reference to the birds. It might have been more targeted to simply reply to the HHS reference in the Dixie/Beechwood thread.:idunno:
