I don't get the jv issue. Why do they not make them play whoever they played on friday night? It seems like it would take away that problem..:confused:

 

I'm not sure if the 1A schools have told Beechwood they don't want to play their JV or if Beechwood wants to find other opponents. Beechwood is playing their varsity opponent's JV till district play starts. When they get into district play in week 5 and would normally play the 1A varsity opponent's JV, the only 1A school JV they play is Walton. The other weeks are when they play two more games against Dixie and another one against Highlands.

I don't see this one being a game. But I could be wrong. Highlands by 3 TD's.

As was noted in the CovCath vs. LexCath game thread Jared Lorenzen did the TV announcing for a Lexington TV station. Now everybody knows HHS has the money (or could get the money rather easily) to start up a Internet Radio feed but maybe now HHS finally has an radio voice to do the games. It's a great place for him to get some experience doing games.

That would be a great idea but I think Jared has his sights on a little bigger stage. He has the resource(s) in Ft Thomas that could possibly help him get to that bigger stage. He is on his way though...

Agree, although Dale has a lot of respect for Beechwood's program and I'm sure it's vice versa. This is a series that Dale can't afford to lose and like another poster stated in another thread that Highlands won't want any part of Beechwood in a couple years. That to Dale makes this matchup that much more appealing to him to play the best.

 

I respect Beechwood and their coaches, program and football community a tremendous amount, but, if you really think HHS is any way fearful or leary of playing them ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, well, your simply delusional. I don't care if the Tigers beat the Birds Freddies 5 times in a row, Dale would play them in a parking lot if need be.:laugh:

The birds should enjoy another win in this game. Looking forward to how Beechwoods remaining season ends up.

And I totally understand that but practice makes perfect and doing the HHS games for the rest of this season, would make for a more polished and thus better announcer! You have to start somewhere and HHS ain't a bad place to start at!

I'm just saying that Dale will not beat on a team and kicked them when they are down. Dale needs this series....And it's Beechwood and Dale wouldn't do that to them. Way too much respect.... BTW, you are taking the ignore thing on FB way too seriously. Why would I want to look into the life of the Weasel...

I'm personally sick of hearing about Highlands. I have a lot of respect for their program and all the state titles they have. But that is what everyone talks about on here more than any other team. There is a school in Louisville called the Shramrocks.
