If I remember... this end of Beechwood Road is like Covert Run, a winding road without sidewalks and such. Folks may want to bring a flashlight for the hike back. Lions and TIGERS and bears, OM.

It had sidewalks on one side last time I was over that way. Not sure of lighting though.

As the week has worn on, my gut (or maybe it is my heart?) is telling me Beechwood is going to do a little better than most think. I still think this is a 45-14 or so beating, but it is going to be one of those methodical beatings versus the 5 play 70 yard drive, followed by 3 and out, followed by another 5 play 70 yarder, etc. and all of a sudden it is 28-0 early in Q2. I think Beechwood's offense will perform better than last week and that will help the defense out. Larimore looks like he is going to be able to play and that will also help the defense a lot. I have said since the summer, if Beechwood can hang within 3 TD's, it will be a good game for them. I am hoping for much improvement and will be ok with that margin of defeat in this game. Now I going to go watch Miracle and dream a little.

 

I also heard that Crane was going to play tonight. I still think it's going to be a blow in Highlands favor but it looks like Beechwood will be better than last week.

Sidewalks and street lights...though they are far apart. You will be safe.

If Coach Rash uses the Marvin Lewis rule (No practice, No play), I don't think Crane plays. I didn't see him practice at all this week.

Hopefully everyone comes out of this healthy.
