How about that for a first post on BGP.

Ryle has a solid running and passing game. Ryle TE Tate Nichols presents a big target with good hands, but didn't do much after the catch and was brought to the ground rather easily. The Cov Cath offense had spurts when they moved the ball well on the ground last Friday. Ryle's pass-D pretty much shut the Colonels down but no one is going to confuse Erpenbeck's arm with Bardo's. If Collinsworth is still returning kicks, look for him to rack up some major yardage. Paul Ritter ran like Galye Sayers on the Raiders kickoff coverage team. Ryle will keep it respectable but Highlands should win comfortably, say 14-17 points.

They should probably just play their JV so no one gets hurt. :idunno:

I would like to think that Ryle could win- and they can, but I just don't see it happening.

I forgot the teams play twice, it should be nice comparing both games, hopefully this one is a close game, it could really build the excitement for round 2.
