Better than Trinity or St X?? Certainly the best in NKY but not state.

 

Who do you think is best in the state? According to preseason rankings, it seems like a lot of poles and people think Highlands is best in the state,until somebody rains on their parade. I guess you think its T or X, they haven't even played a real game yet this season!!!

I don't know who to consider the best in the state, especially with many who I think could be having not even played a game. I'm not yet sure that anyone can say Highlands is the best in the state either way though. It's way too early, and they only one their game 19 to 8. It is not like they blew anyone out of the water just yet.

Highlands will be mad after 19-8 last week. Me thinks Birds 44-7.

You don't have to win every game by 50, 60, or 70 points to be considered the best in the state. Yea, Highlands won their first game by only 11 points, but they are a 3A playing in a 5A class and they beat a 6A team.

:laugh: Are you seriously crying about playing up two levels. Highlands has been great since HS football has been around. Their expectations are just as high as any program in the area and using the small school card is unbelievable...Last year they were beating teams by 50 and 60, if they don't this year, maybe their just not as good as you thought...wow, is that possible???

I think that most 'Birds fans, whether they want to say it or not, were a bit disappointed that Highlands' offense didn't perform better against Manual. However, it is important to keep in mind that Manual seems to be a solid team this year, the game was an away game for HHS, and last year Highlands got off to a slow start, beating Ryle (at HHS) 26-6. If Highlands goes on to defeat all its Kentucky competition and win Class 5A, just as they did last year, I think most (maybe not all, but most) Highlands fans will be very satisfied.

I think this is going to be such as good game. I still think Highlands pulls it off but would not suprise me one bit if Ryle upset them.

There is not anybody going to score 50 or 60 against Manual ,I don"t care who you are! If you could predict somebody scoring over 50 against Manual,who would your choices be? (We would play up three classes,but they won"t let us) :laugh: :laugh:

I find it funny how Ryle beats a bad CovCath team and now they are going to beat the Birds..Cracks me up..Could Ryle beat HHS?? I guess anything could happen I just don't see it. Highlands is loaded and will win by at least 3 scores..GO BIRDS!!!!!:ylsuper:
