My advise to Birds fans is come as early as possible to get a good parking spot, then head for Check's or Flabby's for some food and beverage, then walk over to the game early to avoid the long lines.

Sounds like the Highlands faithful need to invest in some good tailgating gear (or some walking shoes). Between this game and Beechwood in week 3, you either get to the parking lot very early to secure a spot or prepare to take a nice walk to the stadium.

Interesting point for later arguments is that all of the teams--Manual, St. X, Highlands and Trinity--play powerhouse teams from Cin. this year (who also play each other) and X, T and Manual all play. Highlands could be the best of all this year, but we can only guess, since they are not on the other two (X and T) schdules.

Wow, this sounds familiar. Seriously though, I think this could be a good game. Manuals Coach has got to know something is special about this team, because there is no way anybody in their right mind would schedule the schedule he has without having some big time players.

 

With last week being a scrimmage, I think the Birds intensity level steps up this week. I'm wondering who this years Oliver Head will be. Maybe Sullivan, Abner, Siedel? Roller will be wrecking havoc all over the field but HHS needs that guy to come out of no where and blow the play up. It might even be Collinsworth. But does Dale want him to sell his body like that? Who knows! It will be exciting though!

 

If the weather is good and field dry, then watch out. Sky is the limit. I see HHS 42-14. Manual scores 14 if they start their drives at the 35 like Male did a lot last week.

 

Look for #4 Travis Alford, and # 45 Brendon Sullivan, both to have big games. These boys are true linebackers and are flat out physical football players.

Manual will probably score more than 20 pts. if Highlands has a big lead going into the 4th quarter. Dale will put the reserves in the game to get them playing experience, which may enable Manual to score. The Birds were awesome against Male. We'll find out Friday if Highlands is that good or Male not very strong.
