While the past will have little to due with Fridays game, and it is quite possible Manual could be worse than usual while Highlands will be better than usual, do the programs appear to be so far apart that the four and five TD predictions seem appropriate?

 

I'm not suggesting it is impossible for Highlands to lay the smack down on us but I won't at all be surprised if that isn't final outcome.

Anybody going to Flabby's Tavern or Checks Cafe?The stadium is located in the Germantown area and both places serve German and other food.A couple German beers before the blowout!The bar food is highly rated at both places.

I agree with your analysis. I think some folks are getting carried away with Highlands looking very good against Male and Manual looking pretty bad against Ballard. The problem with that analysis is that those same folks don't know at this point if Male might be really down and Ballard might be really good.

 

Me thinks the Birds best come ready to play big time or all that talk about going 15-0 and being highly ranked nationally will quickly go up in smoke.

My opinion probably doesn't mean that much to anyone but here it goes,first of all,neither team has played a REAL game this season. Highlands QB has never started a VARSITY game at QB. Then we have a head coach saying this may be the best team ever at HHS. Now we have the fans talking about this game being a total blowout,probably knowing nothing about Manual this season. Coach Mueller usually has the birds prepared ,but all it takes is a couple of turnoversand then the momentum changes,then you find yourself in a nail biter. (Remember Bryan Station last year?) Highlands better bring their A game every week,because everyone wants to be known as the team that beat "THE BEST TEAM IN THE STATE" Go birds, one game at a time. :thumb:

I was at the scrimmage with Ballard, and if Highlands is playing how they normally play, this one might get really ugly really fast. I'll take HHS by 5 TD's before they call off the wolves.

Highlands is loaded this year and coach Mueller wants to be ranked nationally. My guess is he will run the score up on everybody he can this year. Not much playing time for the frosh. Highlands wins 47-0
