Danville Mustangs lost their first game against a Kentucky team tonight at Florence Freedom to the Northern Kentucky Knights 8 to 3.

Who did the mustangs pitch? That's an impressive victory. Will the mustangs get another chance to play the knights in the tournament?

The Mustangs pitched 3 pitchers i think, #3, #14, and #25. And no the Mustangs dont play the Knights in this tournament anymore. But next weekend i heard the Mustangs and Knights are combining minus a few players from each team to play in a tournament this weekend in Georgetown. Its going to be like 6 Mustangs and 6 Knights on the same team.

The mustangs didn't treat this is an actual game. It was an extra game so the coach decided to pitch kids who hadn't thrown off a mound all year.

Glad to see the coach putting player development over top of maintaining the perfect record against KY teams. I am sure his players appreciate that as well.:thumb:
