July 22, 200917 yr Homer is really struggling. Thats an understatement. He quit pitching and started just throwing after the first 3 batters. Now that his splitter has been scouted a little bit more its up to him to adjust. So far he looks like still needs a LOT of work on the mental part of the game.
July 22, 200917 yr Further evidence that Homer is still a bit of a head case. He's got to back up home on that throw. Until he learns to deal with adversity he's going to struggle.
July 22, 200917 yr He really sucked tonight. At this point, just let him learn. If he can't get what you can out of him.
July 22, 200917 yr I think he saw the lineup card and decided to pitch a game worthy of the support Dusty was giving him.
July 22, 200917 yr So sick of this team. Wish i could just find another team to support, but I can't bring myself to do it. Being a Reds fan is hard.
July 22, 200917 yr We can't even get the opposing pitcher out. 2 for 2 tonight and the other night a pitcher was 3 for 3.
July 22, 200917 yr Says the guy with Brewcrew as his name. Oh the irony..... Brewcrew has nothing to do with the Brewers.:thumb:
July 22, 200917 yr Homer is still not a MLB pitcher. He is nearly giving up an earned run per inning. Should've traded him a month ago when he was red hot.
July 22, 200917 yr This team is just not very good. I really noticed it this weekend while at the Brewers series when they had both lineups side by side. It wasn't even close when looking at it like that. The averages were better almost throughout. Look at them compared to the Dodgers, Kemp hitting 8th? He would be the Reds cleanup. I love the Reds and have been pretty upset, but they are who they are. At least we got to watch some meaningful baseball until mid July. Next year it will probably be longer.
