You can feel the rest of the life being sucked out of the Reds season with that hit.

Pujols, Manny, now all we need is for someone to sign Barry so he can hit one to the Levee.

Sucks for Bronson he pitched really well tonight.

Through Rosales' legs. Riiiiiiight through the wickets.

Dusty had to put him in during a double switch to buy more time so Nick Masset could get loose in the bullpen. Seriously.

Agree with earlier post. Reds will be sellers this weekend. Arroyo's comments

when Reds got to L.A. prophetic. Poor West Coast showing would translate

to players being price tagged. Reds quit pretending they were 'in the race'

when Puljos lit up Weathers for another grand slam July 3rd. Baker sure has

made some bad calls when switching out pitchers. His choices have been

drilled in big moments. Disappointing Reds team after hype over pitching

being its' strong suit. How many stud Reds pitchers can anybody name from

the last ten to fifteen years?:idunno:

Reds should get a sweep this weekend

Any one who doesn't think Adam Dunn's bat is not missed in this lineup is crazy. Donrt give me the defense angle either. I have seen misplayed balls all season long. They are rated like 13th in fielding . Plus he would have protected Votto in the lineup. All we got for a 40 and 100 guy was Micah Owings? How is the Volquez for Hamilton trade working out????

This team is anemic offensively. How long can Reds management get away with putting a AAA team on the field?

Honestly, I'm still on the fence as to whether we should be buyers or sellers. After a rough stretch, it's tempting to say sell, but there is still a lot of time left. Another bat would help this team out tremendously, although they still have plenty of shortcomings.

The Reds never perform well in LA & this was no different. I was hoping they'd take 1 of 3, but they couldn't. Plenty of games to sneak in a few wins, though.

5.5 games out of first even as bad as they are.

We got Wilkin Castillo, Dallas Buck & Micah Owings in the Adam Dunn trade. It was a brilliant trade for the Reds, although we do miss Dunn's production.

The Volquez trade is working out awesome, too. Hamilton has spent a lot of time on the DL & isn't putting up the #'s that he has the past few years. And don't forget, Daniel Rey Herrera was a part of that deal too.

That's what I'm saying. We'd have to jump 4 teams in our division, but it's not impossible.
