June 1, 200917 yr A lot is being made of LeBron James walking off the floor last night after losing to the Magic in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. James did not speak to the media following the game, nor did he congratulate any of the Magic players on winning the Eastern Conference Title. Should LeBron be chastised for his actions and be deemed petty and a sore loser? Or should nothing be made of it? I feel it was extremely petty and showed a sign of immaturity. I love watching him on the court, but take it like a man when you lose. I didn't really think of it as a big deal when I thought all he had done was not speak to the media, but when I heard he didn't congratulate any of the Magic's players, that really irked me. Thoughts?
June 1, 200917 yr The game was over and he didn't enjoy the outcome so he left the floor. It's not like he pulled a T.O. and went to the locker room before the final horn. Nothing wrong with it IMO.
June 1, 200917 yr I don't have a problem with him not speaking to the media, but I do feel he should have participated in the post game handshakes with the Magic.
June 1, 200917 yr Author ^^ I do too, especially since they run that NBA Cares commercial with him in it about teamwork and sportsmanship
June 1, 200917 yr He should watch the handshake line at the end of the Stanley Cup finals. Maybe he will learn a thing or two.
June 1, 200917 yr He gets paid a lot of money, he can spare the time to speak to the media afterwards. I think he should catch some heat.
June 1, 200917 yr Maybe he should be criticized if this were incessantly recurring with him. On the other hand, I can't fault the guy for showing some passion. Isn't this what we always complain about with professional athletes? I'm sure he could congratulate the other players with a few phone calls if he so chose.
June 1, 200917 yr It really doesn't bother me to much at all. Not talking to the media doesn't bother me at all, but I feel like he should at least shake the Magic players hands.
June 1, 200917 yr I don't fault him for his frustration, especially given how his teammates helped cost him the series as much as the Magic. But yes, he should have stayed out there, shook hands, and then talked to the media. Losing is a part of life.
June 1, 200917 yr He should be bigger than that, we all hate to lose but he made a mistake by letting his emotions get the best of him. Hopefully he doesn't make the same mistake twice.
June 1, 200917 yr Pretty immature IMO. He sure can throw the chalk when things are going his way. It was a great series and he his a multi millionare off his image. He should have shook hands at the very least. He also didn't come home with the team.

We dont know what transpired on the floor and he may have took the better man approach to not adrees it. Until it becomes a pattern I for one and not to concerned with the action he took.
