All I can say is... WOW!! After reading the link to the CJ from Rockmom, there was a link to the criminal complaint filed by the FBI agent. It is very interesting reading!! Especially about the demands being given to RP by Mr. & Mrs. at their house and then her writing down the list for her husband to give him in West Virginia on March 6, 2009.

 

And then her attorney in the divorce case giving RP's attorney the demand for $10 million!! You gotta read it to believe it!!:ohbrother::sssh:

Interesting stuff! Obviously, it seems clear cut that she's guilty of extortion. It also seems clear cut that there's something for RP to hide or he would have never met with her. I can't imagine her going down quietly. Will be interesting to see who this other person is as well as why her husband played gopher delivering demands.

For what it is worth the wording here can be tricky. To discuss, can be she asked or they jointly considered. To deliever can be to send at the request of the sender or simply showing Rick what she was demanding. How it is worded leaves it open to both sideds.

 

With that said I would agree that this is single most damaging peice of the story to Rick Pitino. Prior to I saw nothing solid to make me suspect he had any involvement, this would be the first peice to make me think that he may have had a relationship with her.

 

The Forde articule is a virtual discrediting of the woman, hard to read it another way.

Didn't Forde author a Pitino book? It's not too surprising to me that he shot her down.

The complaint said a lawyer for Sypher later demanded $10 million for her in exchange for her silence on allegations of "a criminal nature" that are not revealed by the government in court papers.

At the boys state tournament when the talk was about a head basketball coach for Kentucky. There was a gentlemen who is a big Louisville supporter. We were talking about the possibility of Rick coming back to Kentucky. One fellow said Rick would never leave Louisville because of the new arena and the Big East conference. The Louisville supporter said he heard Pitino say he would never coach the first game in the arena. We took it to mean that he would be at Arizona or Kentucky, now ??? :eek:

I think that the woman is crazy...but I am not saying she is totally wrong either. It would not shock me to find out that any big name coach would have some skeletons to hide either. I also think that Mr. Sypher is not a totally helpless victim in this situation either...especially after reading the signed affadavit by the Special Agent. Paraphrasing a line from a recent movie: "There is more here than meets the eye" I don't think we will ever know the full truth...unless....Calling COURT TV....CALLING COURT TV

As I said earier when this thing first came out. I don't know if this Sypher woman is a liar or if Pitino is a liar on this. I do know that one of them is obviously a liar, maybe both.

Should Pitino's claims be correct then I hope that it is proven and they clear him from any and all allegations (whatever they are) if for nothing else the sake of his family. Should Ms. Syphers claims be legit then I hope they are proven and not covered up and Pitino exposed. I honestly don't know what to think on this. People are being very closed mouth over the details for some reason and I really doubt that we will ever know what went on if anything. I look for there to be a "sudden resolution" and/or agreement to the case and it suddenly go away.:sssh:.

At any rate it is certainly nothing for anyone to be celebrating over.

Just a thought....it was said the Pitino stated he thought that this could be over an incident in 2003. I have no idea but I hope this woman doesn't have a child around 6 years of age.....:eek:. I don't know, am just saying......:sssh:
