Should be a great game!

I don't care how big Corbin is, I'd be shocked if Eastern doesn't get a ton of offensive rebounds and putbacks. That's how they Win!

Every player for Eastern is big and physical, especially the guards!

I'm pulling for Corbin in this one, but won't predict a winner because I think the teams are too close.

However, I think the team that wins this game will reach the finals!\

Eastern by 13, Corbin has been overrated all year. That said I would like to see Corbin win but do not think they will.

Eastern may very well win, but to say Corbin is overrated is nonsense. They are one the best teams in the state or we wouldn't even have this thread.

No one dominates a Steve Wright coached team the way Corbin did last night without being solid offensively and defensively.

There should be no talk of anyone in the Sweet 16 being overrated. Each and every one of the teams playing at Rupp is good or they wouldn't be there.

I believe that there are X factors involved. How will each team handle the pressure? Will either team be effected by the size of the college court? Eastern is 7-0 on college courts. I cannot pick a winner because I have not seen Corbin play. With that said I have a difficult time believing that Eastern's size and athleticism can be matched in this game.

If Corbin wins this game, it may be considered a mild upset. Corbin dominated Lexington Catholic and got up by 16 or so points at one point in the game--they did allow Lexington Catholic to make a run in the fourth quarter and Corbin ended up winning by 3 points.

Don't forget they are quicker than quick and very deep. The most athletic team in the tourney. You have to play with poise and strength to beat them.

Corbin by 1.

True, but Lex Cath is not as athletic as Eastern. Corbin is also very athletic. I think this will be the best first round game of the tourney.

What is Eastern's size? Won't strong 6'4" and 6'5" experienced post players be big enough who also did a fantastic job on one of the states best big men in Matt St John (6'9") in the region final? I cant imagine their guards being any better than Sanford of Lex Cath and I think he would be the first to tell you that Madison Johnson(6'4") and Josh Smith (6'2") can put the "D" on you. The question may be, can Eastern match up with Corbin's very physical inside game? Win, lose or draw...Eastern will know that theyve been in a war when this game is over.

On paper, should be one of the best first-round games of the tourney.

Two legit title contenders facing off right off the bat. It will probably come down to which team can settle in and adjust to the big stage first.
