I believe the winner of this game could be in the finals! Nerves could play a large role in how each team performs. Crawford is the only player at Corbin who has any state tourney experience. Not sure about Eastern.

The larger court may also play a large factor in how these teams perform. It possibly may not be as much run and gun as some may think. The length of the court can get to you in a hurry!

GO CORBIN!

Is Josh Crawford a 100%, I think he was injuried last year? But his numbers are lower than what I expected this year.

I don't understand the inconsistent remark either.

Corbin is just winners of 11 straight and 26-1 during their last 27 games. Now that's being inconsistent.:ohbrother:

Eastern plays in the 7th region with losses to a team ranked in the top 5 by most polls during the year. Corbin has been consistent by most teams standards, but did not play the schedule of Eastern, and Knox Central, South Laurel, and even Scott, are not Jtown.

Crawford is 100% this year. Corbin has so many weapons and Josh is very unselfish. Sometimes it could be viewed as his only fault. Crawford, Wilson, Johnson, and Smith are all capable of having 30 point games. Josh is going to get you 10-15 rebounds on most nights and play ecellent defense. There may not be but 4 or 5 players that are stronger than him in the whole tournament (Wilson and Patterson of Central included). Josh is very very capable of being a 27 13 type player. He just distributes the ball well. He probably avg about 5 or 6 assist per game.

How much did the game with Ballard take out of the J-Town Chargers the night before they faced Eastern?

Dowe and Thomas are two to watch for Eastern. Lile I said before, if Corbin can handle Eastern's speed then they'll win. If not, then Eastern will win. Rebounding is also a key for both teams.

I would include Remy Abell in this group. He led Eastern in scoring in the regional final with 23, and looked like he'd be tough for Corbin to match-up with (quickness) from what I've seen of the Eastern/J-town game (online).

I will agree, Eastern has played tougher teams, but on paper Corbin looks better..It all depends on how Corbin Shoots the ball. If They open the flood gates they'll win, if not, it will still be close.

If who opens a flood gate? What does that mean anyway?:idunno: We don't want Rupp to get flooded! I look for the winner of this game to be playing Holmes Sat. night.

Crawford is 100%. I agree that his numbers may appear to be low for such a high-profile player. However, he does things that don't show up in the box scores. In fact, I would like him to be more selfish sometimes.

How does Corbin look better on paper? Does it say that all of Eastern's players are very quick leapers with above average verticals and 4 will go to the glass on every shot attempt?

Actually no! It says that on all averages, Corbin is the better team, wait you do know what an average is right?

Actually no! it says that, on average Corbin's numbers are higher on ever aspect of the game, you do know what an average is right?

13th is my home region, but I'm going to have to go with Eastern on this one. I'll still be rooting for Corbin, but I think that Eastern 70, Corbin 58 is more realistic. Hope I'm wrong though.
