Corbin needs to have a sound fundamental game to get the win against a very good Eastern team that is the upper bracket favorite to get to the finals.

1. Keep turnovers at a minimum, which will keep easy transition baskets for Eastern at a minimum.

2. Everyone must block out to cut down on second chance baskets.

3. Make the extra pass to get better looks at the basket.

4. Shoot the ball well from the outside.

If they play team ball, they have a legit shot. The games they lost, they seemed to lose that 'team' concept and were jacking up some bad shots. If they do the 4 things you pointed out, they win and advance.

2 key players for the Hounds are Mills and Johnson. Mills must stay on the floor and control the tempo and Johnson can't go crazy jacking up shots from everywhere (unless he is hitting). Johnson can help the Hounds more on the board with his freakish leaping ability and taking it to the rim more than playing the perimeter game and launching deep 3's (unless he is on, and when he is on, watch out.... he can fill it up). Smith was a beast in the region and I expect to see him bring his A game as will Crawford. They MUST control the tempo to win this game.

Actually no! it says that, on average Corbin's numbers are higher on ever aspect of the game, you do know what an average is right?

That would be relevant if both teams played the exact same schedule

Too bad they don't...but let's let the players take care of it on the floor.

Who is Mills? Do you mean Isaac Wilson?

It would be my guess he is confused and thinking of big Isiah Mills at Corbin a few years ago.

Oh yes.

The Zebras will play a part in this game. Over the back and reaching fouls will determine this game b/c the teams are very close in talent.

Go Hounds make the 13th and mountains proud.

I meant Isaac Wilson. My bad. I was thinking about the Mills kid from a couple of years back.

:thumb: Thats what I figured, Mills sure had a lot of potential back then.

From what I've been told, Blake Hendrickson won't be playing today because of an injury he sustained in practice.

That could really change the complextion of the game, with Coach P having to change is sub rotations.

I think the game boils down to the ablility of Isaac Wilson to handle the ball against more athletic defenders than he sees in the 13th region. To that end I think Coach P did a great job of playing some challenging games to ready his team for this stage.

If he can't play in this game thats just terrible for the young man.

Let's play ball!!!
