A serious question for the die-hard Wildcat fans...

What if they don't win it or lose in the 1st round game of NIT. Talk about ouch...

That wasn't my question. You get one or the other...

I'd take the NIT title. Could show promise to build on going into next year. Not sure a 1st round loss would help....

I'd take the NCAA bid over everything else. Even if you win the NIT, you weren't good enough to get into the NCAA Tournament and that says it all.

That wasn't my question. You get one or the other...

Well it could back fire, just saying.

How can a hypothetical situation backfire??? :idunno:

I would lean towards the NIT title. Something to build on for next season.

Ah man...not trying to add on but that is funny

In GT's hypothetical,I'd take an NIT title but if we made the NIT it wouldn't be a guarantee. So I'll take the first round loss.

Without a doubt NCAA. The N.I.T. is the Not In the Tournament tournament...

I'm going to the dance and take that loss any day over not making it at all.

Anything can happen in the big dance, so I vote for dancing.

A hypothetical question.

If teams in the NCAA tournament dance, what is it that they do in the NIT? Amble? Stroll (no, that's an old dance)? Shuffle?

Ok obviously it can't. That was my hypothetical situation. I don't want in the NIT because if thats a first round exit as well then it looks really really bad.

I would like to see what other teams that won the NIT title did the next year. Alot to think about, if they were young or not.
