Pendleton Co. going from 0-11 to 7-3 and winning two games in district for first time is a good story.

Pendleton County is twice the size of Bracken County. Pendleton has had a change in attitude. They have some nice athletes. The QB has came into his own.

I am very proud of this Pendleton Co. team. Hats off to them.

Bracken Co. does not have a stop light in it.

You would never call that play from behind the plate. If he was up the 3rd base line like you describe then he was where he was supposed to be. Trust me out there you see alot better than you do from behind a fence in the stands no matter how good of a seat you have. I don't know if the call was right or not but that is where he was supposed to be. Since you sound like you really know about umpring why don't you sign up for the test and join the association and then the shortages will be at least one less. :thumb:

From what I understand it will not be rescheduled and not cancelled. This could get ugly before the weekend is over.

I will say this LBBC. I like the tourney at Mason Co. because of the tradition. But because of where you live in the county is it closer for you to go to Mason Co. From Falmouth I really don't think it is much of a difference. I can be in Mt. Sterling in about 1 hour 15 min. and in Maysville in about a hour. So not alot of difference to me.

I am too young to remember but what my dad always told me was so that they could get another team to the state tourney from Lexington that year. It was so Station but that did not happen due to running up against a Pendleton Co. team that upset them. So I don't know if that is the real reason but the reason I was always told. Also good job on the Tollsboro I forgot them in the 39th.

I agree you can say that Montgomery is better but Pendleton has suprised to date. Anything can happen.

I think the 39th was Mason Co., Maysville, Maysville St. Pat, Fleming Co. I don't think there was a 5th team in there. But I don't know. 37th was Bourboun Co., Paris, Harrison Co., Nicholas Co., and MMI. This was in the 80's

If I was a betting man I would almost bet that Pendleton draws Montgomery in the first round. But I am not.

Plus I could be wrong on this too but I think NCC's only loss was to an Ohio team. So they were 33-0 against Kentucky teams. I could be way off base on that but I don't think I am.

I am almost positive you are right on Persley playing on that team. I and I am about the same way about the NCC being # 1.
