Simply calling a spade a spade...

Agreed. :thumb:

And? Sounds a lot like the very average JUCO roster at UC in the prior two years. They gave X a game. Yippie...

What do you mean and?? I was talking about the game?? Whats with the "holier than thou" attitude tonight?

Maybe we should change the age requirement to join BGP to 40. Some of you never cease to amaze me. :ohbrother: Keep the talk about the game. Take the rest to pm's or start new threads.

Bad guard play. I sat there tonight and Porter wow what can you say? Afraid to shoot, when I left with 1:00 min left, he had 0 points, 4 fouls, probably 4-5 TO's in about 30 mins of PT.

What did you guys think of the substitution pattern by Coach BCG today in the 2nd half?

He said communication was very important on defense and the subs didnt get the job done.

Were told to switch everything in the second half except Patterson...did not want to leave him alone on perimeter...

Subs messed it up.

Case in point, Liggins came in and promptly didnt switch and to make matters worse he went under a screen while guarding a three point shooter.

Agreed. (See post #78). I was disgusted again with the booing of Michael Porter, simply put, the team fares better while he is in there instead of Liggins.

Not to mention he took an ill advised 3 point shot on the offensive end and was immediately removed from the game.

Liggins needs to grow up. After he got taken out for the last time he slowly walked to the bench, threw his towel, and got into a heated discussion with an assistant coach. From that point on he stood on the edge of the huddles, seemingly paying no attention to BCG, and did not support the team in any way.

Totally unfocused last night. Liggins is a head case. Like has been said turned up the defense when needed, but pretty much took the rest of the night off. It's a win and we'll take it, on to the next one.

UK seems to be hurting when it comes to Point guard play. Whoever is in thereJMO

Still contend that Auburn is not awful...be that as it may.

Auburn is not awful when they can hit shots, seems like they hit some tough ones last night. They did beat a decent Virginia team at Virginia.
