Kentucky 73 Auburn 64

Featured Replies

It may have been close but I never felt it was in doubt. As bad as they played they still out rebounded Auburn 39-20 and had it not been for 10 Auburn threes then the Tigers would not have got as close as they did.

Looking at the schedule it looks possible that they start 8-0 in conference before a strong stretch in February when the Cats play Florida, Ark and Vandy on the road, Tenn, SC on the road and then LSU.

This is fun

Fun? Yes.

Getting off topic? Beginning to.

:isurrender:

Talking about being off subject...

My apologies...

Patterson was a Man-child tonight, it seemed like every shot that didn't go in somehow wound up in Pattersons hands.

Kentucky was very lucky to come out with a W....

Thanks for the analogy.

If you think it's bad on UK threads, you should see the other side.

UK didn't play that well tonight against an AWFUL Auburn team, but got the win. While that's all that matters, to ignore the reality of why people are posting like they are on either side is pretty clear.

UK fans are slamming the Big East. UL fans are crushing a down SEC. Round and round...

Auburn is not AWFUL, they are not real good, but are decent.

Slamming the Big East? Maybe so...I see the BE overrated threads and that is silly, but the Big East coaches promoted that the conference "was the greatest or toughest conference in the history of college basketball"

It is real good, but may not even be the best conference this year.

Why did the coaches say that? They looked at their schedule and said things I can't post on BGP.

There are a few examples of a conference finishing at an insane level and the Big East will have to match that for it to be considered real by fans.

Auburn is awful. DePaul is awful. Call a spade a spade...

Forget UK/Auburn, the most exciting game was the last two seconds of Fla/SC. Anybody see that? It was right before UK played Auburn.

Still contend that Auburn is not awful...be that as it may.

Far too many turnovers, unforced errors. At times it looked the Cats didn't want to play tonight and were flat out lazy.

Having said that U.K. was still able to pull out a "W". Patterson dominated as he should against a small, less talented inside team. Meeks pours in 31, Stevenson also looked good tonight at times.

The best thing about tonight's win was that is was another SEC win and it puts the Cats at 4-0 in conference heading into conference road games at Alabama and Ole Miss.

Another very good thing tonight was Florida lost, giving U.K. sole possesion of first place in the SEC east and MSU lost as well putting U.K. alone in 1st place overall in the SEC.

U.K. played bad but it is conference play...........survive and advance.:thumb:

GO BIG BLUE!!!!!

Sitting alone at the top of the SEC - the way it should be!

What a feat! :notworthy:

26-32 from the charity stripe.

This team has been fantastic from the line this year.
