Where Blockbuster used to be on Martha Layne Collins. It's ok. I'm not a big NY style fan

The wife and I have been going to Strong's Pizza in Newport lately. It is. Brick oven style pizza. The Buffalo and Bacon style pizza covered in crushed BBQ Grippos is terrific and if you go you have to try the raspberry white chocolate dessert pizza. The dessert pizza alone is worth the trip.

Had it a few weeks ago, it was very good.

There's a Goodfellas in Reading OH. A non-profit. Could they be a chain?

Oops its Roc a Fellas in Reading

Of the restaurants listed, my favorite is LaRosa's. However, my current favorite is Jet's.

Dewey's in Crestview Hills is my favorite.

Pagliai"s has the best pizza in the state. Hands down.

Try Pasquale's Bacon pizza and put pickles on it. I'm telling you it is amazing. Only 7 dollars and includes drink. Order the 10 inch special with bacon, then ask for a side of pickles.

I'm really digging GoodFellas in Lexington.

There's a Good Fellas in Covington as well, and the upstairs is a nice, quaint bar with pretty good bourbons.

Owned by Darren Harris. Played on Conner's state champ football team. Boone County deputy sheriff.

Just a heads up. I worked with Darren until he retired from the Sheriff dept. Great guy. He also just bought a restraint in Hebron or Burlington. Can't remember which one.

Also as far as pizza places there is one we ate at in Myrtle Beach called something like California Pizza. They were awesome. They have a Hawaiian pizza with dates and coconut in that is incredible.

Oh come on now TIGER...you GOT to get out of Princeton more often.:thumb: Pagliai's has perfectly fine pizza...but best in state? Come on now my western KY brother.

I like Buddy's pizza in Frankfort. Locally owned joint, good, NY style pie. Have to eat it hot there though...not the kind of pizza that travels well or is good the next day warmed over in the microwave.

A good toaster/convection oven takes care of this problem. I haven't used a microwave to reheat pizza for years.
