October 12, 201015 yr Got a carryout the other day from a place in Edgewood called Noce's. Outstanding pie! Anyone else had this pizza? I like it. I also like the pie from Newport Pizza Company. I also really dig the pizza from Buonavita in Dayton on Fairfield Ave.

A guy I used to work with who got canned the day after his newborn was brought into the world is a partner in this outfit. They are obviously doing well and expanding into NKY. True NY Style Pizza from what I hear.
October 13, 201015 yr LaRosas Pepperoni is the Caddilac of all Pizza IMO. I love all kinds though, never really had a bad pizza anywhere to be honest. Except for that Poverty Pie they sell at Domino's for $5. UGH !!!

I'm hoping I just got unlucky, but I ordered from there a few weeks ago. My wife and I hated the pizza. I'm giving them another chance soon, but it's hard to justify paying more for a pizza from there than a chain if they're not better. If it's better than Larosas I don't mind spending the extra money.
November 18, 201015 yr Mellow Mushroom. I had lunch today at the new location in Wilder. Good pizza with very good crust. I think I heard someone say they use honey instead of sugar when making the crust. While I didn't have it today the parmesan cheese hot pretzels are yummy.
November 18, 201015 yr ^ I know of many that despise the Larosa's sauce, some say it smells like vomit, I disagree. When I worked their I put on a good 30 pounds, and still have the NKU ID to prove it, makes for good motivation. Has anyone had a pie from Vinny Van go go's in Savannah? Very good stuff and a great atmosphere. When I ordered the kitchen was hot as a firecracker, and the cooks were blasting some Iron Maiden. Seemed like a cool place to work for a college student.

November 18, 201015 yr Papa Murphy's in Cold Spring closed:cry: I noticed that the other day, I would get pizza from there every now and then. Always seemed like people where in there.
November 18, 201015 yr Heard it was good but pricey, Going to check it out tonight. It's expensive, but the pizzas are huge. Beer is a bit pricey as well, but they have a pretty big selection. I'd say 30 different types on tap and several others bottled. All in all it was a pretty cool atmosphere. Be prepared to wait though, as they were packed, and it seemed there was some mass confusion going on between the staff as to what tables ordered what, etc.
