Dang I can't believe I didn't mention that to doomer. Yep, the theme of the restaurant is dogs. Buddy is/was the owners dog and he named the place after him. Dozens of dog pictures on the wall from local patrons.

Dozens of dog pictures on the wall from local patrons. We will definitely have to check it out. We walk by there about every weekend, but usually WITH my dogs so we don't stop at restaurants.

June 17, 201511 yr I would have picked other and chose Giovanni's in Ashland, however as the franchise has grown, the quality has dropped off considerably. The original Giovanni's on Blackburn was as good as any pizza I've ever had, including pizza joints in NYC. Now that they have grown they use the conveyor system and prepackaged frozen toppings. So I chose Donatos, their thin crust is pretty good.
June 21, 201511 yr The Holy Shitake pizza at Mellow Mushroom is in my top tier of pizzas. I still think Strongs is the top tier of pizza.

Nothing like grabbing a drink at Edgewood Tavern, enjoying a stogie, waiting for Noce's to deliver my pie...Deweys is no longer in the equation with Noce's around. Only drawback is little dining in.

Well, a little known unadvertised secret is that all of their specialty pizzas are only $11.00 every Wednesday. Yeah, I'm there every Wednesday, lol.
