We are staying in downtown cincy tomorrow night. What is best delivery pizza?

Not delivery, but if you're looking for good quality pizza, swing right across the river in front of Newport on the Levee and hit up Strong's. Fantastic stuff.

Actually, now that I think about it, I believe they do deliver. Not sure what their radius is though.

Good recommendation. They might deliver downtown.

Be prepared to open the wallet wide. Strongs just opened in Hebron and we had delivery. 17.95 a pie. It was good, I expected the crust to be a little crisper though.

It's VERY reasonably priced for the size and quality. Much cheaper than places like Dewey's.

Southern boys with pizza advice lol. He can find some knock off NY style or go to Larosa's.

Bruno's New York Brick Oven Pizza has become my favorite pizza, ever. A little place that opened last August close to my home, it is owned by Chef Santo Buno and ran by his son Louis. Absolutely the best pizza I have ever tasted (My daughter-in-law thinks they put crack in the cheese, it's so good.) and some of the best Italian cuisine I've ever had. The Shrimp Alfreado, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Ziti, and Lasagna dinners are as good as any high priced restaurant I've been to. It's become a Friday night tradition at my house.

Santo and Louis ended up fighting all of the time over the menu and how the place was to be run. Louis quit and Santo sold the place to New York New York Pizzaria, who has several restaurants in the Bay area. Not the same, now.

The Gondolier has become my favorite pizza. The House Special with green olives added is my go to, now. Their Super Vegetarian is a good pie. Reasonably priced, too.

Lol I love it when people talk trash about a restaurant, such as Larosa's or a chili place, yet the places are very successful! Just because you don't like a place just means that it's not to your taste, not everyone else agrees, if they did, they would be out of business, which they are not. ;)

Did you ever consider it could have something to do with the business training people's tastes? Large chain restaurants' success can often have a lot more to do with good marketing than good food. I provide McDonald's as Exhibit A.

Or perceived "value". With McDonalds as an example, people pull up and know they can get a 2 cheeseburger meal with fries and drink for about $5.00. Pretty cheap by todays standards, regardless if it might actually be low grade dog food when compared to "better" fast food options and sit down establishments. Or, since this is about pizza, Little Caesars. The pizza is actually pretty horrible...but I have gotten my share of it to pick up and take home because it's quick and cheap and it will get eaten by the hungry masses.

Come on Jim, you're sounding like Mnt Ref with conspiracy theories, lol. Yeah ok, the majority of society is being brainwashed lol.

I happen to like McDonalds, and others do as well, a heck of a lot more than don't like them. Same with music, your taste isn't like everyone's else, it doesn't mean that yours or others taste is bad.

I just don't get into the negative bitterness as some others do. If I don't like a place that's just my taste.

You prefer to aim your negative bitterness at people instead of places... :lol2:

Just had Jet's 8 corner pizza the other night. That is the best chain pizza going right now. For some reason, it reminds me of Pizza Hut's pan pizza when I was growing up. Nowadays, I wouldn't feed Pizza Hut to my dog. As far as non-chain pizza places go, Papa Rocco's in Gulf Shores, AL was really good.

Well, people deserve it, they are so annoying!, I know you agree!

Honestly, unless what people do or say bothers someone, harasses someone, or is destructive, I couldn't care less about what people do or say anymore. Plus my stupid doctors tell me I need to watch my stress? That ticks me off! The nerve of them telling me what to do and that I have stress! Just trying to control me! I hate those people! LOL, JK.

And Olive Garden as Exhibit B. Anyone who likes that place has never really had good Italian.
