Wireman
Believe it or not, Larry Flynt and Joe Francis are heading a campaign to ask the federal government for a $5 billion dollar economic bailout - for the adult entertainment industry. What gives? http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/01/07/campbell.brown.porn.bailout/index.html?iref=mpstoryview

TheDeuce
Sounds like greed to me... I'd almost guarantee the adult industry isn't in trouble.
MSUEagles
Sounds like greed to me... I'd almost guarantee the adult industry isn't in trouble. I have to agree with you. There's nothing like a bunch of stiffs trying to get free money out of the government.
theguru
I don't understand why everyone here is being so hard on the adult industry. If all the other industries are going to get a bailout why should the adult industry get screwed out of their juice?

Watusi
I doubt they will get satisfaction up front on this. They would be better off to try and get some relief through the backdoor. You know, grease the right palms of the right lawmakers and before you know it you have your pork added to the rear end of a legitimate bill. Sure, some may call that a reach-around, but in politics you sometimes have to go around the world to get on top.
