Birdsfan
On a somewhat related note, anybody remember Ayds weight-loss candies from back in the '70s? Talk about a bummer ...Yeah, that goes down as the world's least fortunate marketing decision.
theguru
I think Flynt and Francis need to swallow their pride and take one for the team.
Wireman
I'd say the adult industry is going to take it up the tail pipe on this one. There's no way the federal government is going to pump them full of cash.

the poet
Too many people in the adult industry are acting like amateurs.
Rebel
There's no way the the Federal Goverment will allow their chain to get jerked by Flynt and Francis.

Watusi
What if this actually comes to fruition? A full-blown bailout for the adult industry may scratch just the right itch. Flynt and Francis would likely blow the whole wad in Vegas, but that would pump a lot of jack into the flacid economy.
Rebel
After reading the cnn article again, all the porn industry is asking for...is to be showered with Gold. I'd say let'm have it!

The Red Rambler
I'm surprised the alt-porn industry has shown restraint on this issue. Seems like their finances are not a bondage to growing larger. They should receive federal funds for all the little people they employ, but clearly they don't want to put their foot in their mouth. So as of right now only the mainstream companies are looking for a fist full of cash or they may go gangbusters on congress.
Wireman
I'm looking forward to the threesome of Flynt, Francis, and Jenna Jameson coming to Washington D.C. to spew this garbage in front of Congress. What I wouldn't give to be Mitch McConnell on that day :thumb:

They could use a helping hand. Job market there is probably pretty grim, also.
Xtiger69
The adult indusry has been bending over backwards for years to try to operate within the set guidelines but the Feds always end up giving them the shaft every chance they get. Maybe the adult indusrty secretly likes being dominated by the Federal govenment.I don't think they should ask for the help.
