What if this actually comes to fruition? A full-blown bailout for the adult industry may scratch just the right itch. Flynt and Francis would likely blow the whole wad in Vegas, but that would pump a lot of jack into the flacid economy.

I'm surprised the alt-porn industry has shown restraint on this issue. Seems like their finances are not a bondage to growing larger. They should receive federal funds for all the little people they employ, but clearly they don't want to put their foot in their mouth. So as of right now only the mainstream companies are looking for a fist full of cash or they may go gangbusters on congress.

Yeah, what about the "out-of-the-mainstream" segment of the industry?

The adult indusry has been bending over backwards for years to try to operate within the set guidelines but the Feds always end up giving them the shaft every chance they get. Maybe the adult indusrty secretly likes being dominated by the Federal govenment.I don't think they should ask for the help.
