Then Crable has either changed his mind or he is speaking out of both sides of his mouth.

Jared does like living in Ft Thomas. I know it would be hard to turn down for him but my gut(which is a big one) says his name doesn't belong on your list. IMO

 

Regarding Jared Lorenzen, why would a program as established and tradition-rich as Covington Catholic select a guy with no formal coaching experience??? I mean, has J-Lo ever been an assistant coach somewhere? I don't think he has.

 

J-Lo is obviously a great player, but there are many, many cases of great players not making great coaches. This would seem like a pretty big gamble on CCH's part to me.

I love J-Lo as much as any HHS fan, but I 'm not so sure he would even pass the initial educational requirements to coach. I would think CCH would be looking for someone that could be in the building teaching and leading their young men in ways that J-Lo may not be qualified to do at this point in his life. No offense intended to Jared, but that's just reality. He would probably make a fine coach down the road with some experience in the field.:thumb:

Jared isn't going to coach at CovCath. Now if his food revenue like quadruples overnight with CovCath faithful at his Restaurant, then who knows what would happen:ylsuper:

The man who looks like a genius running Trinitys offense, but only could muster a couple wins a year as the Head Coach at another school.

Tom Sprikzy(SP) would love to have Jared as a QB coach at Dixie. That is what you meant right.
