:eek::scared: Wow!

Hopefully you have a good relationship with the parents......Good luck

Congrats to Coach Poynter!

Hmm. Good luck to Johnny. Returning to were he once was a assistant.

Congrats and Good luck Coach Poynter.

Coach Poynter has done a tremendous job at Trimble County. In his brief four years, he took the Raiders from the longest losing streak in the state to back to back winning seasons, three consecutive years of playoff games and the school's first playoff win in history. He brought the excitement back to Trimble County about football. He has worked hard to make our young men not only better players, but better people. He expected a lot out of them and held them to high standards. He helped some of our boys to make it to the college level and encouraged many more that did not choose that route. For some of our boys, he became the father figure they did not have.

Coach Poynter has my respect and admiration. I wish he and his family nothing but the best. Bourbon County probably already knows this, but they are getting a good one. He will be missed in TC by at least one blue and gold fan.

Good luck, Coach!

Hate to see Coach Poynter leave our area. He put Trimble County football back on the map. Bourbon County is getting a great coach and class act person. Good luck Coach Poynter.

Johnny Poynter is a tremendous coach and an outstanding person. If he gets the backing he needs; he will do great things at Bourbon Co again!. I hate to see him leave the area but I know he wants to be closer to home. Thank goodness for cell phones. Best of luck coach and buy plenty of kicking blocks.:laugh:

He was an assistant at Rockcastle for a few years in the early-mid 90's. Defensive Coordinator for Bourbon County during the title run. Head Coach at Pike County Central during the 2000's and just left Trimble County as HC.

Hate to see Coach Poynter leave Trimble. It was always fun preparing for his Trimble County teams. I wish him well at Bourbon.

Will Trimble hire with in?

Good Luck to Coach Poynter. Hope he can have the same success at BC as when he was there with Dudley!

Good luck, Goatman!!! :thumb:
