It was a sellout! I heard that there were more than 600 people in attendance. I couldn't run with the big dog's( sweeperboy,Thunderbird). 10:30 was my limit but the party seem to last until the wee hour's. The event was a huge success having it at the Syndicate.

THUNDERBIRD is still hurting today.:puke:

Where will upcoming junior Corey Compton fit in this year? Will he focus on offense, defense, or both? Is he the biggest standout in his class?

Little bit too early to tell if he's the standout but he's going to be a good one.

Who else in his class will we hear a lot about in 2009? There's so much talk about 2009's seniors that the juniors seem a bit overshadowed.

Daniel Gold had a TD in the state game and the Johnson Central playoff game. He played a lot of 1st half DB & WR all season.

I know it's way early and spring football has not even begun, but who will likely start/significantly contribute at the various positions for HHS in 2009? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post it in public.

You are right about that part.

Question: I remember that last June, Highlands played the likes of Trinity, Beechwood, and Ohio teams Withrow, Fairfield, Indian Hill and Shroder in 7-on-7 competitions. Are these no longer permitted by the KHSAA?

They are in July, but not June. No inter-school competition in June.

Well, with the Highlands girls and boys BB teams getting eliminated over the weekend, Highlands will be holding spring practice pretty soon.
