Aerosmith That's pretty much all I need. You can't go wrong with that list. I withdraw my list from discussion. Rock is probably my favorite genre of music. I don't think I could narrow it down to a personal top 10. My top 10 one day would completely different the next. It really just depends on the mood I'm in that day.
November 16, 200817 yr Not my favorite but the best and most influential of all-time THE BEATLES. I have always heard that they were the first band to release albums of all new songs at one time. Up until then only singles were released one at a time, then only after a few released singles did well the record companies would release albums from the musicians.

November 16, 200817 yr Author Id say the within the last 20 years the best are Metallica and U2. Both of these bands put on amazing concerts and have had great success. Then you have the hair bands era which goes to Guns/Roses. Now the hardest ones to narrow down are the classic rock bands. Its a toss up between The Beatles, Stones, Led Zepp, Pink Floyd, and possibly the Doors.

November 17, 200817 yr And them ... I can Understand...They are one of the greatest bands of all time and I sometimes forget about them...I think that's the way they wanted it...:thumb: Only one of the Original band members is still living...:cry:

KISS not even on the list? Whether you liked KISS or not, their longevity and influence on Rock music in general cant be denied. Another one that surprised me not being on the list(and I cant stand them) was K.C. and the Sunshine Band. They had to be the poster band for the Disco genre! I guess its true what they say about opinions....everyone has one!!:thumb:
