Tomcats eat the Bluebirds 28-27

Is this a typo? 383?

:scared:

Tell me he's a noseman!! Poor Tyler Combs, will be 3rd week in a row blocking 380+ pound lineman!!

I haven't seen any 383 pound lineman for Ashland on the field and I would think it would be hard to miss them!

I voted for Ashland to win, but I think I voted more with my heart than my head. Hope Ashland pulls it out but Highlands may be more than they can handle.

Speaking of Tyler Combs, I was watching the Bryan Station game and Tyler took a pretty flagrant punch to the head. No personnal foul called on that play.:rolleyes:

I did see TC pushing his SUV into school this morning, I thought he was just having car trouble.:D

No unfortunately you will not see this kid on the field. When, Ashland does go with a nose you will see a 270 pound kid.

Thanks.

So are you telling me I was fed some false information??? You may have just saved me a hefty sum my friend.

Highlands won state in 2004!!!! There record that year was 2-13:D:sssh:

Hey Boom, its been over a year since anyone has mention seeing your avatar roaming the streets of Ft Thomas. I know that Sweeperboy had two of son's fighting over some girl yesterday in his back yard. He said they look just like their daddy. I'd just like to see the ole boy one more time. It was fun driving thru town trying to find him.

Was this after you and the Sweeperboy shot at him!!!!:D Take the Deer issues to the Outdoors forum!!!!!

Oh yes, I believe I recall this "anomaly" of a 2-13 state champion now. Well based on a technicality I believe my prediction will hold true!

I'll make an attempt at guessing the score

Ashland-28

Highlands-24

Good luck Tomcats, I'll be there supporting you all the way.

Highlands has every thing to lose and Ashland has nothing to lose, just maybe another close game for the bluebirds.

Thanks for the support – not very many non-Tomcat fans behind us.

Clearly Highlands is the heavy favorite. I’m just proud that the Tomcats won the right to play this game. We may not win this one, but you can bet that the Tomcats will give it their best shot and leave it all on the field. If we lose, we’ll congratulate the winners and make no excuses.

I’ve never been to Highlands and am looking forward to the trip. I hope we can make the game exciting.

Graybeard, you know I am a huge fan of you and Painter and all the Tomcat posters, but I just don't see how you guys get past this week. I told my wife that it is a shame that this is your reward for playing so well against Dixie. I will say the same thing that I told the Russell fans, prove me wrong and I will enjoy my crow. I am sorry I picked against you guys.

It looks like there's a good chance Highlands could win this one by forfeit. That is, if the Tomcats read the Ashland Daily Independent. ;)

Ashland's local paper seems to be under the impression that we play our home games at Beechwood. From the paper:

The Tomcats will play against top-ranked Fort Thomas Highlands in Fort Mitchell next week. Highlands had a struggle with Bryan Station, winning 28-22.

And we thought it was bad when the Cov Cath guys thought they were playing in "Johnsonville!"

Funny. We'd better not let the newspaper reporter drive the bus this week....
