November 5, 200817 yr Serious question for Obama supporters: I had someone tell me that they voted for Obama but their vote was meaningless because they know going in that KY would go to McCain. My question for all Dems, is it demoralizing knowing that your vote is meaningless, according to this cat? I don't thinks so. Like someone else said, you vote and are a part of history. Obama did win the majority vote and those of us who voted feel good about that.
November 5, 200817 yr Who will go down in history as the best campian Clinton in 92 or Obama in 08? Clinton did not receive majority of the votes cast. O did. O hands down.
November 5, 200817 yr Who will go down in history as the best campian Clinton in 92 or Obama in 08? As of now, I would think Obama's would go down as the best in history.
November 5, 200817 yr Reagan in 1980 That was a long time ago...I had just turned 16...What I do remember is Reagan was going to kick but and take names...Kind of like John Wayne as President...IMO He accomplished what He Set out to do...:thumb:
November 5, 200817 yr I found the analysis of 2004 vs. 2008 results in heavily populated suburban counties to be very interesting. The GOP took a nosedive in MANY of these counties. They need to figure out a way to regain the suburbs.
November 5, 200817 yr IMO, the black Obama supporters was making it a black & white thing. I go to work today and the black supporters are making racist comments about the election. The white Obama supporters did not act as such. The election should not ever come down to race, religion, sex.......it should be whomever is the best candidate. IMO......this was not the case........
November 5, 200817 yr Reagan was a great campaigner - always a voice of optimism and hope. Obama's campaign was not unlike Reagan's efforts only Reagan responded to criticism with good natured humor. I wasn't around, so I'll take your word for it.
