MC has some extreme speed on both sides of the ball! A very good football team that should play well into November. I was not impressed though, by the language one of the MC coaches chose to use as he screamed at his team on the sidelines, within earshot of all the fans in attendance. I'm really glad all of the little kiddies were out trick or treating and did not have to witness that tirade!

Very impressive for Highlands to just walk all over a big 6A school like this. Highlands I think could play with anyone in the state of KY.

I agree Highlands could definately play with anyone in state. Are they better than X and T? I think that numbers come into play with these two teams.

Highlands is the best high school team I've seen this year.

 

Glad nobody got hurt on the mis-fire. I'm also glad my heart is strong, because that scared the crap right out me. I wasn't expecting it. I wasn't expecting the blast before the game started either and I was walking right under it when it went off.

I think # 27 Clint Crawford made the last block down field to spring Buten on his 99 yard TD. It was around the MC 35 yard line. If Im wrong please correct me.

Just watched the game again and yes it was Austin making both of the blocks down field. It looked like Austin got as much joy making those blocks as he would scoring a td. It just show's what kind of character he's made of.

I never said they are better than these two teams I said they could play with anyone. But I do think they are better than Trinity and right behind X.

Clint Crawford DID make several FINE blocks downfield on some passes and punt returns!

I'm glad you mentioned that, because the guys in the trenches rarely get the accolades. Yet they are the foundation for everything that happens on the field. Jarred did in fact do a great job. He's been through a lot this season, and it's nice to see him doing so well. :thumb:

After the way that Cody Rosenhagen played Defense of Lineman last night , Its a little obvious he is 1st Team Allstate and Headed for a nice College career. Good luck Birds! Win State-in-08!!

Family Tradition, Thanks for correcting me, Im not as young as I used to be,so my eyes are not as good as they used be. Yes, Austin C. is a fine young man ,player, (TEAM PLAYER),and we are proud to have him as a bluebird and a Fort Thomas resident.To take two defenders out on two seperate downfield blocks , on the same play, is truely amazing. IMO:banana:
