October 23, 200817 yr JW what others thoughts were on this. I keep trying to get someone on here to go eat at a place called Zolas. They have the best burger in the tri-state area for like 3 years in a row. What are some other places? He has a place in Newport now called Cityside. Pretty much the same burgers. If you are at the Levee, it's within walking distance. id say Italian- Pasquale's in Bellevue and Pompilio's in Newport Mexican-Rio Grande in Newport
October 23, 200817 yr The Rio Bravo by Wal Mart in the Village Green Shopping Center is so much better. Can't beat either though! Have to disagree with you on this one. Both are good though.

October 23, 200817 yr You also have O'Charlie's and Longhorn in Cold Spring, which is south of NKU. But if you really get the carving - White Castle is down the road in Cold Spring too.
October 23, 200817 yr Rio Grande is the best Mexican in NKY IMO. Zola's does have the best Burgers as well. You can get those at 915 Cafe in Ft. Thomas and also at Skinny Legs in Bellevue as they are the same ingredients/meat/pretty much everything. Best Hoagies has to be Pasquales in Bellevue. They butter the bun and salt it and the sauce/cheese/pickles, etc is unbelievable. Get Plenty of Napkins. Another great place to eat is Bellevue Bistro, especially for brunch on Sundays. Bistro and Pasquales are very close to each other on Route 8 in Bellevue.

October 23, 200817 yr Dang, now you've given away our secret place. It is, in fact, in the Remke shopping center in Newport. It doesn't look like much on the outside; but inside is the best Mexican food you could ever ask for and great service. :thumb: My girlfriends apartment was maybe 5-10 minutes from that place. I only tried one item, the mixed fajitas and they were great. The weekend I helped her move home, I ate there Friday for lunch and Friday for dinner. It was great.
