He attended Transy's camp this summer with some of the Highlands boys, their team made it to the finals and lost to a (coached) school team from Louisville. Solid post player who would look great in a Bird uniform. 13 teams in the 14U division, that is a ton of teams. Does anyone have any info on these teams as far as where they are from and whether competetive or not? NKY Thunderhawks NKY Flight- Old Firehawks??? Wolfpack (Warning) Vipers I think I know most of the other teams and all I remember being very competitive. Warriors added a very athletic leaper who should add some instant offense on the blocks. Who all plays with the Warriors and where do they go to school??

Flight, Old Firehawks plus 2 Wolfpack have a 1 an 2 team.. Racke is playing for one, just not sure which one, as well as Barnes. I've seen the Vipers before but can't remember much on them. Flight came in second in the last session of this league losing by 14 to the Raptors I believe..
October 30, 200817 yr Seen both Racke and Barnes running with the Meiman coached Wolfpack team. There were 4-5 of the same kids as last year, so again, they should be pretty tough, although the Raptors were giving them a run for their money last weekend.

The problem for them is they lost their best player in McGovney. Still should be a good D2 team, though.

October 30, 200817 yr Tichnor and others??? Well, I know there were some kids from Tichenor on that team this fall and they were current freshman at Lloyd. I am assuming this winter squad are all current 8th graders. If not I guess Perry better start asking for Birth Certs.

I wouldn't say they are favorites to win. That age group seems to be pretty even. Raptors beat Wolfpack, Outlaws beat Raptors, and the Wolfpack has beaten the Outlaws. The Wolfpack picked up a very good player from Gallatin Co.

October 31, 200817 yr Things should get very interesting now at the BCI. Dave is selling beer at Sportsville? I know times are tough but this is bad idea. He has youth school teams playing there during the week. Then on the weekend things get heated up already sobber. Wait till one of the drunk moms start yelling at the refs.:jump:
October 31, 200817 yr I would say it's their 4th grade team and they are a good 4th grade team. 4th grade team is playing in the 4th grade division.
