November 2, 200817 yr No beer sales at the BCI this weekend, just good basketball and bad refs. 4th grade team to beat look like the NK Wildcats. 5th grade at a 5/6 grade team in called the DC Nuggets with some big kids. I got to see some 8 grade ball. The Wolfpack has talent but didn't play well together. Should be some good games tody. Omega Flight( aka NKY Hornets) 6th grade beat the DC Nuggets today by 1.....This was a very good game..Logan Neff played really well today..:thumb:
November 3, 200817 yr SOAS league play at Mt. Zion opened up last night. Wolfpack manhandled the NKY Flight and I didnt see Racke. I did notice a really athletic long kid they added who has very nice skills. I am guessing this is the Gallatin County boy. NKY Flight just didnt have much outside of Ayers. The NKY Flash impressed me with their victory over the Raptors. They have a lot of kids who can handle the ball and take care of it. It looks like they picked up a couple kids as well to add to their already solid team. The kid named Nieco who plays for the Raptors can really handle the ball and is very quick. With that said, I thought the little guard for the Flash did a great job of guarding him and forcing some bad shots. NKY Warriors destroyed the Thunderhawks who IMO shouldnt be in the league. At this age level their is such a disparity between good and bad and they just dont fit in out there. They stopped keeping score when it got to 36-2 and I can tell you they scored probably 20 more after that. Definitely some rust on some kids shot but I liked their aggressiveness on the press and some kids are showing how much they have improvedin just 6 months. Not sure who else played and won out there.

Great game as well. Flight came back in the forth to win. NK Wildcats won the 4th grade divison, beating the Nuggets in the Championship. And got a little revenge on Jackson County on Saturday.
November 3, 200817 yr Anyone know of any teams heading to Maysville this weekend for the St. Patrick tournament?

Racke wasn't there. He has missed quite a bit since they started again this year. I believe the new player you mentioned plays school ball at Camp Ernst. Christian Morgan is from Gallatin and he was unavailable all weekend.
November 3, 200817 yr Racke wasn't there. He has missed quite a bit since they started again this year. I believe the new player you mentioned plays school ball at Camp Ernst. Christian Morgan is from Gallatin and he was unavailable all weekend. Apparently Racke had football earlier in the day and didn't feel like he could go.. I'm not sure how his style will translate to the Wolfpacks style but both will benefit in the long run. The kid from Camp Ernst was tough, I've seen him play school ball a few times. Very nice Pickup.

November 4, 200817 yr Do they have 2 kids from Camp Ernst or just the one? I think just one Boom. He is a very lanky athletic kid who has nice hops. Do the Camp Ernst boys go on to Cooper?
November 7, 200817 yr Anyone know of any teams heading to Maysville this weekend for the St. Patrick tournament? Omega U11...
November 10, 200817 yr Omega Flight won the 12u. This team plays extremely hard. They run the floor and are unbelievably unselfish. They beat St. Louis Cardinals, Lakota West Stars and MBA Elite on their way to the championship. Its nice to see good hard nosed man to man defense in AAU. You dont see enough of that. Congratulations to Team Flight and good luck the rest of the season.
