AAU Basketball

Featured Replies

Now that the Middle School thread is up and going, who is going to make noise in AAU? What teams are still around and who have they picked up?

Up here in NKY, the Wolfpack teams will be strong again this year. Other teams of note from NKY are:

U14 Warriors, Firehawks and Bulls

U13 Tar Heels

U12 Hornets

U11 Rockets, Omega, Suns

U10 Wildcats (I hear they have picked up some strong players)

Lets get it on:thumb:

U11 Wolfpack should pass the Rockets this year. If the two big kids stick with them, they will be tough to beat. Should be interesting to see if they go D1 now.

u14 Tarheels are back from what I hear

I agree...The Rockets are really fundamentally sound though. This will be a great game to watch later in the year..:thumb::thumb:

In the advertisements section there is a thread with a couple of nice tournaments coming up in the Northern KY area for any teams that are interested.

The Kentucky Elite will field DI teams in the 10/u, and 12/u, divisions that will include kids from southcentral Kentucky (Wayne, Clinton, Somerset, Bowling Green and possibly Lincoln and Corbin). If the chemistry is good these teams will be hard to handle. Lots of pressure packed up tempo basketball.

I heard the NKY Wolfpack may have disbanded. Where did those kids go? I know McGovney is playing for the Kentucky Elite.

NKY Flight I think..

And I've also heard the Wolfpack have broke up and will have new faces. But who knows..

I sure am looking forward to that season getting started. Seems like forever since nationals.

It'll be fun to see how much the kids have changed. Who has hit their spurt, who is flying under the radar?

I believe Kentucky Elite is fielding a D1 13U team and 14U team.

Many familiar faces on this squad. Notice the 6'7 kid in the back standing next to Patrick Patterson. :scared:

That is impressive! What makes it even more impressive is that he is a 7th grader!!

I thought I read somewhere that players could only be playing together if their residence had a common boundry?
