October 28, 200817 yr Dave is an optimist;) Frankly, we used to simply call 3 days prior and ask which teams were coming, then I called those guys because I knew the majority of them. Typically they didn't want to go up there and be told 10 and get 5 or have to play either 2 age groups above and/or below. We went once and played 1 team 1 year older, 2 the same and 3 younger. Not what we wanted by any stretch. Good luck.

And she's a trooper on the AAU circuit, never misses a play! and let's me know when I do!:thumb: I'll go ahead and say this, for the benefit of all the AAU coaches who will no doubt agree, the AAU moms are the best. They usually end up mothering more than their own. Couldn't do it without them!

I end up keeping two or three kids after a game and she has to feed 4 growing boys after two and three games. Not to mention take care of our other kids and me.

October 29, 200817 yr Are Racke and Barnes on this Wolfpack team? I thought Racke played with the Knicks. He could be playing with a Shining Stars 14U team though. He attended Transy's camp this summer with some of the Highlands boys, their team made it to the finals and lost to a (coached) school team from Louisville. Solid post player who would look great in a Bird uniform. 13 teams in the 14U division, that is a ton of teams. Does anyone have any info on these teams as far as where they are from and whether competetive or not? NKY Thunderhawks NKY Flight- Old Firehawks??? Wolfpack (Warning) Vipers I think I know most of the other teams and all I remember being very competitive. Warriors added a very athletic leaper who should add some instant offense on the blocks.
