I thought it was one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Horrible movie..

You two seem to be in the minority of the general populations consensus of the movie but to each his own.

I thought it was very funny. A lot of the humor was subtle, it really mocked actors and the whole movie industry. I think it will be funnier with repeat viewings--oh and Tom Cruise was hilarious.

Finally saw it. It was funny. I thought Tom Cruise was a bit annoying. The movie was all the funnier when if you know anything about how Robert Downey Jr. and how he prepares for a role- the self-depecating humor his hilarious and brilliant. My favorite line was when the kid asks him where is farm is, and he says "This is my farm!"

It was okay. Some parts were hilarious. Others, not so much. It was worth renting.

Just like others have said, it was alright, hilarious at times, then other times you'd sit there just waiting for something funny to happen, because some of the parts just weren't very funny.

I thought it was awful. As did the six other people I saw it with.

I agree, I will never get that 2 hours back. :puke:

I thought it was dumb. Wasn't that funny till last 30 mins.

Same here..

I am reminded of another comedy that was out some years ago that also got very mixed reviews. That movie was "The Cable Guy" starring Jim Carrey, also an extremely dark comedy. Personally, it is one of my favorites of the past 10 or so years.

Chip Douglas (Jim Carrey): You know what the trouble about real life is? There's no danger music.

I hated Cable Guy when it first came out. Watched it again a few years ago and really enjoyed it.

Went to see it in theaters when it first came out and have seen it at least four time since then.

Definitely one of my favorites. You have to really like that kind of comedy. It's all of the small almost unnoticeable things in the movie that make it so hilarious, kind of like Talladega Nights.

I've enjoyed it more and more every time I've watched it
