September 7, 200818 yr Anyone else seen this movie? I love it and I thought it was hilarious. I would go see it again if it was out down here in Morehead.
September 7, 200818 yr One of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. Ben Stiller outdid himself again. It's no easy feat to co-write, produce, direct and star in a movie at the same time.
September 7, 200818 yr This movie FAR surpassed my expectations going in. One of the funnier movies I've seen in a while. Downey was superb imo. Favorite line, "Never go full retard".

September 7, 200818 yr Author  RDJ stole the movie. That speech was one of the funniest things I've ever seen before. It was hilarious... One of my favorite parts was what happened to the director when they landed and they all just stood there and then Jack Black starts cheering thinking it's all a put on..haha
September 7, 200818 yr That speech was one of the funniest things I've ever seen before. In that case, for your viewing pleasure............ Stiller: There were times when I was doing Jack when I actually felt retarded. Like really retarded. Downey: Oh yeah. Darn(titletown edit). Stiller: In a weird way, I had to sort of just free myself up to believe that it was okay to be stupid or dumb. Downey: To be a moron. Stiller: Yeah. Downey: To be moronical. Stiller: Exactly. Downey: An imbecile. Stiller: Yeah. When I was playing a character. Downey: When you was a character. Stiller: Yeah, I mean, as Jack. Definitely. Downey: It’s like working with mercury. It’s how science makes art form. Stiller: Yeah. Downey: You an artist. Stiller: It’s what we do, right? Downey: Everybody knows you never do a full retard. Stiller: What do you mean? Downey: Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, Rainman, look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Count toothpicks to your cards. Autistic. Sure. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks, Forrest Gump. Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and he won a ping-pong competition? That ain’t retarded. You went full retard, man. Never go full retard.
September 7, 200818 yr Author IMO this was Ben Stiller's worst movie, he over did his acting in this one.
September 7, 200818 yr I didn't think it was that great. It had its funny parts but as a whole I didn't think it was too good.
September 7, 200818 yr It was a hit or miss comedy, no surprise there. Overall it was okay, not great, not bad.
September 7, 200818 yr The split between those who liked and disliked the movie in here is very consistent with what I have heard from people I have spoken to about it. No doubt TT was a VERY dark comedy and much of the humor lie far below the surface at times, far far below. These are the types of comedies (among many other types) that have always appealed to me. I am reminded of another comedy that was out some years ago that also got very mixed reviews. That movie was "The Cable Guy" starring Jim Carrey, also an extremely dark comedy. Personally, it is one of my favorites of the past 10 or so years. Chip Douglas (Jim Carrey): You know what the trouble about real life is? There's no danger music.
