  • I never pay attention to gas prices as it doesn't impact my life in any way. Meaning, I'm going to drive to and from my job, gym, etc. But I did read last week that prices should start to ease their w

WKY and Tennessee are seeing the least amount paid for gas almost in the nation.

Mississippi has the lowest prices of any state! I found gas for $3.70 while traveling through!

$3.89 at the Exxon Moble in Dayton KY yesterday.

$4.19 this morning in Florence and Erlanger. Speedway and UDF still have it for $3.88 in Ft Wright by Ky 17. Kroger's also selling for $3.88 with an additional .10 off if you frequently shop there.

Yeah, I always make sure I get plenty of gas in Bardstown ahead of time if I'm going to be up in the 'Ville for any amount of time. They hose you guys pretty good in the big city.

So I filled up at Shell for 3.97 on Thursday. Friday morning it was 4.19 in NKY. I felt sick when I saw that.

Morehead, Shell $3.89 and at Kroger with the card $3.87. At least it is not $4.00.

And why is that?

I have no idea, I keep hearing that on television on radio and on mapquest when I travel out west, it drops significantly. They must be closer to a refinery.

Give it a day or two.

According to the sign at the corner Shell, it's been hovering around $3.85 and $3.95 down here. I use 89 octane in my old 95 Subaru. I haven't filled up since the 9th and I paid $3.99 for it then. I'm just a little under a quarter tank now, so I'll fill up on the way home tonight. I expect to pay around $4.05, so the bill should come to around $40.

I was in Lexington on Sunday and paid $3.80.

Yeah, you'd think that would help. But there's a refinery in Somerset, and if anything, those folks seem to pay more than in London.

Down on 3L in Ft. Wright UDF and Speedway were at $3.85 on Saturday and are now both up to $4.19 on Monday.
