It's between $2.69 and $2.79 in Louisville.

As usual, NKY with some of the highest prices in the state, jumped up to $2.79+ yesterday morning.

While in Reno last week the gas station down the road had gas for $3.09. Took a day trip to Sacramento, Ca. and in the mountains one station advertised gas for $4.09.

This is the typical spring gauge while they switch to summer blend. Hoping we stay around 2.55 all summer.

We were in NKY/Cincy on Wednesday. $2.79 in Campbell County, as low as $2.37 in Cincinnati. Hanging around the $2.60s here.

Prices went up from the $2.26-2.27 neighborhood to $2.39 in Bardstown on Friday. We're holding the line since there are no Speedways in town, and they are the worst about setting the Ky market.

Weirdly enough, Louisville customers never saw any significant drop in the fall/winter when the reformulated gas quit coming to their pumps. Yet some places I drive by in Louisville are still 50 cents more per gallon than in Bardstown.

 

Collusion? Or just individual shady business practices?

Both, boss. They dance on the line enough to where they can't be busted by the state AG. But it's still shady as hell.

$2.83. Significant spike in the last 3 or 4 weeks.
