April 17, 200818 yr Those amounts are nearly useless as leverage against someone making as much money as Chad. It adds up to quite a bit of money at the end of training camp. And I'm sure if he actually skips out on games the fines might get larger too.

April 17, 200818 yr I think eventually he is traded for picks, but not until right before the season, when it will be too late for him to help anyone, due to the fact he will have skipped everything to date. And the "personal workouts" just aren't the same as training camp, so to whoever picks him up, Chad will be useless until November.....Not to mention, you'd be the hypocritical laughing stock of the league. Well #2 anyway, right after whoever eventually signs Chris Henry.

Whatever the Bengals decide as fair punishment for Chad's actions I'm sure he will appeal to the PA. I don't see this being resolved any time soon and will be a huge distraction in the upcoming season. Chad is a major thorn in the Bengals rear end but IMO there are many other problems going on within.The Bengals problems seem to fester with each day and I think it is time to clean house in the entire organization.

Also may have led to undisclosed injuries to Donovan McNabb by throwing him under a bus numerous times. Willis Mcgahee-Showed no thanks to the team who drafted a guy noone wanted after horrific knee injury by forcing trade from Buffalo to already solid team Chad Johnson-The fun-loving showboat who was the darling of the Queen City for years has turned sour on the organization who gave him a chance when he came out of Oregon St., has blamed it on criticism and (justifiably) bad front office moves. Now has blasted former good friend Carson Palmer on National radio. The common denominator for all of these players- Drew Rosenhaus, a.k.a. Satan. He spits poisonous whispers into the ears of these formerly content players to disrupt everything, IMO (and probably everyone elses as well).

There will be no distraction if he is NOT here....... The Bengals are already planning as if he is not here; the only distraction is if these guys watch TV, listen to the radio, or read the newspapers at home. When they strap it up on Sundays in the fall, the last person they will be thinking about is Chad Johnson. If he shows up and is a distraction(which I predict will happen because he will get paid then), the Bengals bar him from the premeis like the Eagles did TO, and he still is nowhere to be found. The Bengals hold all the cards with him under contract until 2010 with the Bengals holding the option for 2011!!!!!!!! That is a long time to not play football; if they were vindictive, he would not suit for another team until 2012!!!!!!!!!(Only in my dreams.......)
