April 23, 200818 yr [/b] Ya, Miami and Washington are top notch places to get a ring... I'd say both those teams will do better than the Bengals this year, and Washington made the playoffs last year, which is much more than the Bengals can say.
April 23, 200818 yr Your right Chad is terrible.... I can't wait to see how good our receiver corp is this year with T.J., Glenn, and Antonio. Did I say Chad was terrible? Did you ever hear of addition by subtraction?
April 23, 200818 yr In no way is Chad going about this in the right way, but in no way would I ever want to play for the Bengals organization or in this city with this fan base either. The Bengals never reward their players with fat contracts either.... except for Chad, TJ, Willie, Levi, Rudi, Jeremi, Carson, and Geathers...
April 23, 200818 yr I'd say both those teams will do better than the Bengals this year, and Washington made the playoffs last year, which is much more than the Bengals can say. Miami......?????????? Where do I sign for that bet? Washington didn't make it in 2005, so they're even.
April 23, 200818 yr Exactly, when the Bengals were getting better and then had the 2005 season no one had a problem with Chad except a select few. He was fun and entertaining. The second they start losing he's a distraction and it's his fault and he needs to focus on the game more. Give me a break...Cincinnati fans are ridiculous. NO ONE AND I REPEAT NO ONE blamed Chad for the 7-9; they just criticized him for the dropped passes, the bad routes, and running out of bounds on 4th down. His immaturity can't see the difference, so he is taking his ball and going home.
April 23, 200818 yr The fan base that has coddled him for the past four years??? :thumb: Exactly, C.J. cares about one thing......C.J.! I loved the comment that M. Lewis had to espn about his (CJ's) status. "Chad Johnson has stated that he doesn't want top play, he will get that wish":lol: That may not be exact but it is dang close.....I love it!

Maybe not blamed him for the overall record, but you can't tell me Chad didn't go from being the hero around here and Cincy's posterboy to a scapegoat when things didn't go well. The fact of the matter is Chad played great last season. He had a much better year than Carson, but everyone loves him. People need someone to blame it on, so all of a sudden Chad "being Chad" was a distraction.

I never said they didn't reward their players. I said I wouldn't want to play for the organization either because it's a joke, and they are completely fine with mediocrity.
April 23, 200818 yr Did I say Chad was terrible? Did you ever hear of addition by subtraction? Are you saying you think the Bengals receivers will be better this year?... Please say yes!
April 23, 200818 yr Yeah, they never spend the money up to the cap limit and none of the guys the draft stay in the NFL; they need a bigger scouting department!!!!! Wrong, since Marvin has arrived, they have spent their limit every year and they are in the top 5 in players drafted that are still in the NFL. Chad is a baby and can't handle the criticism for dropping passes, running incorrect routes, and going out of bounds on his own on 4th down. You aren't exactly calling him good....

April 23, 200818 yr Again, I don't agree with what Chad's doing. I don't like it at all, and I do think he is being a drama queen. However, I do not blame him for not wanting to play here.
