If Chad decides not to show...

Featured Replies

Honestly, I do think it is horrible what he is doing especially coming off (good year i guess for some) not one of his best years, but idc who you are, saying you want him traded, you will be missing chad if he is in the endzone and dancin in a different jersey..

Not one bit at all. I like team players more than selfish players.

On Lance's show today, it was pointed out that it is an $8 million cap hit if anything is done now. Significantly less than 8 mil after June 1st. They indicated that nothing will be done till after June 1st.

From Lance...

Things I'm told

There was a beautifully framed and signed jersey of Chad Johnson at Moeller's annual charity auction on Saturday night.....zero bids.

Any idea of the opening bid?

I like all the ones that say that the Bengals should get rid of him and he wont be a distraction...Exactly, if all we have on the field is T.J. and Chad isnt there to "distract" the defense, T.J. wont do anything

I am a Chad fan. There has to be more to the story. The reason I liked him is he stuck with the Bengals through the lean years and didn't complain. He always showed up and played hard despite being on a miserable team. Also he doesn't get in trouble with the law like a lot of Bengals players. I think there is more to it because why would he be fed up now and raise a fuss if he didn't when the team was winning 2 games a year. It may be that he is tired of the Bengals players and coaches making stupid decisons either crime wise or personell wise. I'm not sure.

Personally, I think part of it is money related, but part is also that he's just fed up with the franchise accepting being such a joke. They do nothing to improve, and he knows his opportunity to win a ring is not going to come in Cincinnati.

Yeah, they never spend the money up to the cap limit and none of the guys the draft stay in the NFL; they need a bigger scouting department!!!!!

Wrong, since Marvin has arrived, they have spent their limit every year and they are in the top 5 in players drafted that are still in the NFL.

Chad is a baby and can't handle the criticism for dropping passes, running incorrect routes, and going out of bounds on his own on 4th down.

Your right Chad is terrible.... I can't wait to see how good our receiver corp is this year with T.J., Glenn, and Antonio.

In no way is Chad going about this in the right way, but in no way would I ever want to play for the Bengals organization or in this city with this fan base either.

Ya, Miami and Washington are top notch places to get a ring...

The fan base that has coddled him for the past four years???

Chad was with the Bengals for what, one year when they were under .500 before this year??? He did not suffer through the lean years. Big Willie suffered through the lean years, but he isn't an egotistical, immature cry baby who goes about things like a one year old begging for a chocolate chip cookie...

Exactly, when the Bengals were getting better and then had the 2005 season no one had a problem with Chad except a select few. He was fun and entertaining. The second they start losing he's a distraction and it's his fault and he needs to focus on the game more. Give me a break...Cincinnati fans are ridiculous.
