Arrez Henderson

Featured Replies

No...I really think he can play at that level. I am being serious.

I heard Thomas More is very interested. I would love to see a NKY Star stay in town. Do you think there is any possibility he will end up there?

I really heard that. Sorry if that is inaccurate.

Have you seen Arrez play? Not trying to sound overconfident or anything but Arrez is way too good to play D3. He isn't even sure he wants to play at D2 NKU, so why would he play at Thomas More?

He is a D1 recruit who could play at probably any of the top 5 D2 schools in the country. Henderson will have his education payed for the next 4 years whether it be low to mid major D1 or High D2.

Halftime of the Bardstown game. 2 monster dunks and 3 steals...so far.

Henderson isnt even a top 10 player in the sweet 16. He would be a good DII player.

You are badly mistaken!

Arrez had an excellent defensive effort against Landon Slone. Excellent 2nd half offensive effort. Very impressed with how he maintained his composure at the end of the game.

Have you sobered up yet?

I think you have to look at his game and not his stats. He's not scoring at the D1 level like he does at the high school level. He won't a)penetrate as well against D1 defender and b)if he does, he won't get that little leaner off against D1 big men.

He should look long and hard at a top D2 school. If NKU is still interested, he should seriously consider it and be patient. He won't start there as a frosh.

Heckuva high school player and seems to be a good leader for the young Dogs.

I thought he could shoot from the outside? He has passed up several WIDE OPEN threes the last few days. If he refuses to take that shot, no way the kid can play D1 ball at his size.

Arrez isn't playing for a D1 scholarship right now, he is playing to win basketball games. I believe he is doing a pretty good job of that at the moment. Arrez can hit from the perimeter and has a solid stroke. However, I've said it before... And I will say it again... If you want Arrez Henderson on your team at the collegiate level, you want him because of his lock down defense. Anything else is gravy.

First time I got to see him play. I was pretty impressed. He sat down and played good defense today, hit all but one (I think) of his free-throws. This kid has a tremendous upside. Takes the ball to the basket hard.

If him shooting the 3 from the top of the key with no one within 5 or 6 feet of him is going to hurt the team and keep them from winning a ball game I think that says it all.

Now you are just taking what you want out of anything I say and twisting my words, so I am done debating you on the subject. Arrez had 21 points and 6 rebounds in the second half, locked up another top player in Kentucky and led his team to their second straight Final 4.

I think THAT says it all bro!

Expect Arrez to get an offer from Louisiana Tech in the very near future.

Words of a defeated man. It's been great folks... :sssh:
