Sanford v Henderson

Sanford 8 points... Henderson- 10 points 11 boards

Slone 11 points...Henderson 21 points

Don't see how you can put them ahead of him when he shut down both of them while also outplaying them. Your dislike of Henderson and lack of knowledge when it come to basketball are quite comical.

The only one on that list better than Henderson is Miller. BTW wasn't everyone on that list (outside of Middleton and Miller) watching the state championship from the stands while Henderson was dropping 18 on Kentucky's Mr. Basketball?

Also, with Lexcath having potentially 3 of the top 10 players in the state, shouldn't they have won it all this year? I rest my case. NEXT!

Yeah, me too. No surprise though sma...It's called sour grapes. His Teams are Paintsville, and Lex. Cath. Go figure.

As GT would say, I want some of what your havin.

This week was the first time I have seen Henderson. I was impressed with his overall game. He seemed to do whatever his team needed. Stayed cool throughout all the games I saw. Never rushed or made many bad decisions. Athletic for his size.

In the finals, I kept waiting for him to kick it up a notch and get Holmes back in it. Don't get me wrong, he had a very good game considering Darius was on him all night.

Hopefully he gets a chance to play at the next level. As we are seeing from the NCAA tournament this week, there are a lot of good "underdog" teams. And many of these (Butler, Davidson, Belmont) have player who were not even recruited at the D3 level, but walked on, and have become very good ballplayers. Hendrerson may be one of these "diamonds in the rough" that colleges are overlooking.

Thats comical... There are so many things to go into with this but I don't even think it's worth my time...

That top 10 list does seem pretty biased. I'll give it a shot, based solely on Sweet16 performances.

1. Miller

2. Sanford

3. Pittman

4. Moorman

5. R. Johnson

6. Stewart

7. Slone

8. Middleton

9. Henderson

10. Whitaker

While I don't completely agree with all of the list, I do think that Sanford and Miller were the best prospects for college ball that actually gave effort.

I am glad you didn't put a guy on there that completely didn't deserve it just because he is a burger boy...

Henderson isnt even a top 10 player in the sweet 16. He would be a good DII player.

If you think you can name 10 guys down there better than him I'd call you crazy.

You are out of your mind if you think Arrez is better than Hopson. I know Hopson never really plays hard but still. If he was better than Scotty, why isn't he a top 10 prospect in the nation?

I don't give players credit when they don't give effort. He can have all the potential in the world but if he isn't willing to reach it he does no one any good. And I could think of a better time to exert some energy than in a state tournament your senior year.

Well before you can put a head to head match on Sanford and Henderson you must first know that Catholic doesnt play man to man so therefore thats not a head to head on each other. Catholic plays a 3-2 or a matchup zone.

I havent heard anyone say any DI schools giving him offers, Sloan has had offers to play, Novosel is getting strong looks from Harvard (DI), Smart Vandy (DI), Stewart (Air Force). Point Proven?

I am not trying to dispute Henderson as a good player, he plays probably the best defense of anyone in the state, but I dont think he can take a game over on the offensive end. If he developed a jump shot then he'd be very good.

I agree with you completely about the effort. I'm just saying...You cannot saying Arrez is BETTER than the number 9 prospect in the country.
