SvFan, let me tell you a little story. My boyfriend was going to propose to me on Valentine's Day in 1993. He purchased the ring from out of town and it was being sized and remounted and being shipped certified and insured to him. Well, the ice storm of 1993 hit and shut down the interstates. I was sure that he was going to ask me to marry him and when he didn't, I was devastated. Unbeknownst to me it was because he did not have the ring! He ended up having to tell me what happened because, well because you would just have to know me! Anyway, he waited to the next weekend when the mail could be delivered and everything was perfect! Almost 13 years of marriage and 5 beautiful children later, I can only hope you story works out as well as mine! Don't sweat the small stuff! And congratulations!!!!

Congrats SvFan4life! Soon, we can welcome you to the club.

Very cool SVF!

Don't listen to these guys.

Getting married was the best thing I've ever done.

I'm sorry to hear about this. This is truly a travesty. Your life is officially over let alone your time on BGP. Now, don't let these old guys get on here and tell you marriage is great. They'll tell you their sob stories how they've been 20, 25, 30+ years. They'll say how wonderfull it has been. It's all a bunch of crap. They've just learned to lie and cover their tracks in case their wife ever gets on here (which is something you're going to need to learn). Also, you probably thought all the questions from family members would be over once you gave her the ring. It's far from it. Now you'll be asked when the wedding is and where it's at and why are you having then and there. Then it's when's the baby coming and why haven't you knocked her up yet. She pops one out, and it's still not over. All of a sudden, it's when is the second coming along and how many more are you having. It all sucks. Just learn to lie and cover your tracks, and you'll get through it.

Grain of truth in every joke:sssh:

Once you get through taking out the garbage, fixing that leaky roof, taking the dog out (or cat), starting the car in cold weather, shoveling the snow off the walkway, getting her a drink of water at 2 A.M., and scratching her back, everything else is a breeze.

Did I forget anything jailb... err, I mean married guys?

You will laugh about the circumstances of your engagement for the rest of your lives. A sense of humor is essential in any marriage.

Cant believe no one else has said it...............................................

YOU DIDNT GO TO JARED???

Let me know how it goes, I'm thinkin about it:lol:

Look what Brown did for you

Congrats!

Good story. Congrats and Good Luck!
