For Henry County

Dylan Doll DT

Darian Ingram OL

Justin Hartledge DB

All three started as Frosh on Friday night for H.C. They will be very good over their careers.

Alex Abner will be a another weapon added to the Maroons group of great skill players. He had a lot of big hits and caused several turnovers as well as scoring both running and receiving. PC is looking for him to contribute big time this year.

This doesnt surprise me one bit. Good luck next year Alex. :thumb:

Would you know what Alex's dad name is?

Cant go into specifics due to some rules on here. But I do know that this kid is cousins with the legendary Abners that played at Highlands in the early 80's on back to back State Championships. These same Highlands Abners also have sons who will also be playing for Highlands this year in Sophmore QB Austin Abner and Senior LB/TE Ted Abner. :thumb:

For CCH

DL Mitchell Wendling

OL/DL Mark Jones

RB/LB Will Torbeck

RB/DB Leo Shaeffer

QB Troy Timmerman

RB Josh Friedel(transfer from Ryle)

Franklin County's line will need some up and coming sophomores to contribute this year! Players expected to step-up include Wesley Watkins and Kris Long!

For the Danville Admirals, look for Devin Lynn and Tevin Raines to tear it up if they work hard in the summer....both could be terrors at linebacker.

In more ways than one. :lol:You kidding me Clark!!!

Would you know what Alex's dad name is?

Pretty sure that would be Becky Sue.

For Owensboro their group of sophmores have some talent

Trey Cain returning kicker #3 at kicking.com combine

Kal Prince QB very mobile and a very nice arm at around 6' 3" he will be a force for the devils in the coming years.

Zack Brown LB can really hit and is a thick kid and with the lose of several defensive players should fit right in.

Dakota Blanton ?? TE maybe this kid is 6'7" and if they can use him on offense will be very nice for Prince to throw to.

Ryan Boling RB this kid is fast but still small and needs some weight added but he is very explosive and can really hit the holes.

Others of note that need some size added are

Jake Ward RB

Cody Martin WR

Tony Davis RB a diamond in the rough. Can be a great pounder on short yardage.

The future for Owensboro looks bright with this group of guys added to the returning JR's and SR's.

Shouldnt there be a slash next to Austin's position? I can see him going QB/LB just from watching his aggressiveness on the basketball floor.

I've always said the kid hits better than he throws!!!!:sssh:No seriously, the kid loves to hit and wasn't able to contribute this past year due to the back-up QB being hurt pretty much the entire season. So the coach didn't want to risk injury without a solid backup QB. Who knows, spring and summer is just around the corner and with some serious hard work and commitment he might be able to crack some special teams next year. Wait until the 1st time you run on to that field. You won't be able to describe the chills that run up and down your spine!!!!! This is the time of your life:thumb:

And it goes fast, so enjoy those long hot summer practices, and those hits where your not sure where you are because soon enough you'll wish you could be out there hitting and getting hit and it will all be over.
